This essayist article proposes to address hermeneutics and the metaverse to establish interrelationships between one and the other and possible implications that may result from them for the legal sciences. Hermeneutics is not restricted to interpreting written texts and encompasses, in a more comprehensive way, epistemological guidelines for understanding reality. This, in turn, is due to the accelerated technological development and advances toward exclusively digital environments that constitute what is known as the metaverse. As an instrument for understanding reality, hermeneutics can be used as a tool and epistemological basis for understanding the nuances and characters of the new and growing digital universe. The legal sciences are not alien to the computerization and digitization of everyday life. They are impacted, both theoretically and practically, by the constant transformations brought by technological development, requiring assimilations and re-significations of legal concepts.
