WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH CONDITIONS OF NURSING TECHNICIANS

Objective: To analyze the influence of the work environment on the health disease process of nursing technicians in Primary Health Care. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional, exploratory and qualitative study. Data collection was carried out from September to December 2021 and participants were selected by convenience. The interview was semi-structured, in addition to a questionnaire to collect labor and health issues. Students and employees on leave and hired by accreditation were excluded. Data were treated, categorized and analyzed using techniques described by Bardin. The ethical precepts of the research were respected. Results: Nursing technicians are daily exposed to psychosocial and biological workloads in the work environment, which negatively conditions of these professionals who have mental disorders, orthopedic problems and chronic diseases. Conclusion: The evidence from this study shows that working conditions as well as psychosocial burders are the most reported by nursing technicians.
