Introduction: In Brazil there are about 10 million individuals with chronic kidney disease, of whom more than 120,000 are undergoing hemodialysis. Hemodynamic treatment implies shocking restrictions on the individual's life, such as reduction of physical activity level, limitations in activities of daily living, social isolation, stress, in addition to increasing the risk of comorbidities. Thus approximately 62% of these patients develop depression. Thus, the objective of the present study was to evaluate the correlations between resilience, depression and physical activity level of chronic renal patients submitted to hemodialysis in Bom Despacho-MG. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional study in 64 volunteers undergoing hemodialysis in Bom Despacho - MG. The Resilience Scale, Beck Depression Inventory, and Baecke's Questionnaire were used to evaluate resilience scores, depression and habitual physical activity of volunteers. Results: When investigating the correlation between resilience, depression and level of physical activity, it was observed that the higher the age the lower the resilience, individuals with low resilience present depressive symptomatology, the longer the hemodialysis time the lower the level of physical activity of individuals . There was no correlation with statistical significance between hemodialysis time and resilience and time of hemodialysis and depression. Conclusion: After analyzing the study, it was concluded that the elderly are less resilient, being a possible explanation for the depressive symptomatology of this population. It was also found that the longer the hemodialysis time the lower the level of physical activity. Thus, it is important to create programs involving all health staff, in order to improve the prognosis and quality of life of these patients in addition to reducing morbidities.
