Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.Original Articles
This section publishes papers that present results of empirical, experimental or conceptual researches. The contribution must be original and must not have been submitted to any other journal. The articles must have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 pages and should be presented in the following sequence:
- Title page: containing title in Portuguese and English, the author (s) full name (s), the name (s) of the institution (s) where the study was conducted, and the name, address and e-mail of the corresponding author.
- Abstract: It must have no more than 250 words and be structured as follows: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions and Keywords. It should be avoided, in the abstract, abbreviations and references.
Note: If you are writing your work in English, you must submit only the English version of the Abstract.
-Main Text: It must contain Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, Declaration of Conflict of Interests and References. Abbreviations have to be restricted and always set to the first appearance in the text. Tables, photos, figures and drawings must be sent both in the main text, in its original sequence, as well as in separated files.
Review

Short Communications
This section emphasizes the reports of partial results, preliminary researches or results of original studies that can be presented succinctly. The article must have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 pages and is divided into:

Interview
This section aims to publish interviews with authors, recognized authorities in the academic field and other personalities that contribute to the debate of science. Interviews should contain the interviewed name (s), a photo and an introduction up to one page at maximum. It also requests to be sent the digitized authorization (s) of the people interviewed, agreeing with the publication of the material. For survey of interest about topics and prospective respondents, the interviewer may contact the Editorial Board. Interviews must have a maximum of 10 questions and 5 pages.
